Product design, portable photo set, Negrini

The 'Teatrino Negrini' is a movable furniture designed for Negrini, an export company of Italian food goods. The idea resulted from the need of high quality pictures of the products without overspending on still life photo features. The project consists in a box containing a complete photo set, combined with a series of training stages of basic photographic knowledge to be held within the company.

Ideas sometimes arise from a simple thought, or from the free exploration of all the possible aspects of reality, to create a new consumer good, a new need, a new wish. Some other time ideas are drawn from human and material resources, to increase their potentiality, to improve them and be more competitive. These ideas are a reaction to a real need. The challenge has been taken up by Alberto Gobbino Ciszak and Andrea Caruso Dalmas, designers coming from Turin but living in Madrid since 2007, and their new project ‘Small Theatre Negrini’. The piece itself is a simple two-wheel box trolley obtained from the company’s shipping wood boxes. Inside it can accommodate all the elements necessary for a complete photographic set: background, lights, tripods, cables, umbrellas. In the meantime a container and a worktop for the set assembly.









Teatrino Negrini was exhibited in November during the 2009 Turin Design Week, Linea RMP, Torino, Italy.
