Introduction
The workshop wants to be a journey discovering living matter and its continuous transformation. The goal is contrast the tendency we have to quickly materialized an idea into a final product. The manual and empirical approach is the way to discover the potential of a material avoiding getting bogged down in a closed function or application we pretend to give a priori.

Methodology
It may take us far away from the initial idea, but working directly with the matter reveals the beauty of the process and unexpected results. As a methodology the workshop follows the possible relationship between the plaster and some easily findable materials. Groups of two students are formed and they start testing different ways to work with the plaster: from dust it can be worked with water and poured into DIY molds (ex. plastic bottles, containers, balloons, pipes) or it can be gradually shaped solidifying different layers of plaster. At last each group has to choose an abstract concept and list its characteristics which will be shaping the narrative side of each proposal.
