| Wednesday 9th of June we’ll present the Lungi Carro, a hand crafted chart developed in collaboration with fashion designer Kavita Parmar. The project was designed for the Lungi collection which questions about sustainability encouraging artisans and communities to continue their age-old crafts. URBAN INTIMACIES EXPO IN BERLIN AND MOSCOW |

| We are opening "Urban Intimacies", an exhibition curated by Tina DiCarlo, former curator of architecture and design at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. UI is a collaborative project developed by Ciszak Dalmas, architects Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver (Oh Lab), poet Gonzalo Escarpa, and graphic designer Francisco Villar (Tres Tipos Gráficos). See you on April 10 at Magnus Muller Gallery, Berlin, or on June 22nd at Muar, Museum of Architecture, Moscow. |

The project consists in a piece of furniture containing a complete photo set, combined with a series of training stages of basic photographic knowledge. CLASSIC FRUIT BOX WITH LEGS |

| Classic Fruit Box with Legs is a basic home furniture. It derives from the cross of a typical fruit box and four old chair legs. The project wants to be an exercise of questioning how strong it is the need to produce brand new products in a world of overproduction, where the existence of second hand materials in massive quantities could be the cue to conceive a new generation of post-industrialized products. |

| Ciszak Dalmas participated at the ‘Natural by Design’ workshop, organized in Mallorca from 12th to 17th of July. The former possession of Son Forteza in Alaro, ideas factory of the company Camper, for the second consecutive year hosts a week of a experimental workshop on the design and manufacture of footwear. Ciszak Dalmas were invited to design the workshop exhibition in a context in which a recovered countryside architecture contributes the reactivation of the rural world and promote innovative ideas for those who live in the cities. | Ciszak Dalmas are design tutors in the Total Design course, which runs for one whole academic year as cross -sectional experience across the main fields of design and communication. SELF DESIGN AT POLITECNICA |

| Ciszak Dalmas were invited to coordinate ‘La Maquina’ workshop as part of the Self Design Master program, 'Scuola Politecnica de Madrid', from May 12 to 15 2008. The workshop focused on the conceptual reflection on the everyday
object. The students started analyzing the object semantics and followed
proposing different practical evolutions through the use of basic
materials. The Self Design master course explores alternative design approach
methodologies. |
